Dr.Svitlana Koval serves as a Principal Investigator with the MARPE F.A.C.E. reserach protocol that covers investigation of effects of 3D guided midpalatal expasnion in conjunction with 3D guided midpalatal piezocorticotomy in adult pateints. Thsi reserach is conducted by our affiliated reseacrh company MARPE F.A.C.E. on the basis of DrKoval Orthodontics within the clinical environment by our Doctors and personnel.
Dental clinical research with the medical perspective of investigating the effects of 3D guided midpalatal piezocorticotomy-assisted MARPE is aimed at linking the effects of this treatment to changes in patients who suffer from Obstructive Sleep Apnea. This treatemnt has been shown beneficial by our preliminary reseacrh within the MARPE F.A.C.E. laboratory.
Training sessions providing deep immersion into the method and plannin gof 3D guided midpalatal piezocorticotomy will be provided later this year.
Dr.Koval will be lecturing for the dental professionals, periodontists, and orthodontists at the annual meeting of International Association of Dental Specialists in Washington, DC in May 2026.
